Absence Reasons


To add extra Absence Reasons, click on Add New.

Enter a unique code for the reason and a description. Click Save.

To edit a reason, click Edit in the Maintain Staff Absence Reasons page.  Due to the need to maintain the integrity of historical data, it is suggested that a reason only be edited if the is a typing error involved. This is also why an Absence Reason cannot be deleted. If it is no longer relevant, the Absence Reason can be disabled.
