3. Daily Messages - Student

On the SIMON Workdesk is a Daily Messages window.  This will display any student daily messages for the current day.

Clicking on the Daily Messages heading will take the user to the Daily Messages module.

NOTE: Staff will automatically have the ability to enter Daily Messages.  If students are to be allowed to enter messages, this option must be selected in the Maintenance > Configuration interface.

NOTE: The Daily message menu items will vary depending on the status of the user. For example, if students are able to enter daily messages they will only have access to View Messages, View My Future Messages and Submit Daily Message.
Only Daily Message maintainers will ever be able to view the Maintenance menu option.
